Abdullah Buftain and Khaled Al-Sayer, with years of experience in public relations and marketing roles at leading telecommunications and banking companies in Kuwait, identified a significant gap in the understanding of local identity and culture in the work produced by advertising agencies in Kuwait. In response to this need and a passion for delivering creative Kuwaiti content, Abdullah and Khaled founded Local Flavor in 2012. The primary goal was to offer innovative services that stay in tune with the latest global trends in marketing and corporate communication while embracing and celebrating Kuwaiti and Gulf identity in every project undertaken by Local Flavor.

Over the course of 12 years, the Local Flavor team has successfully launched numerous distinctive advertising and marketing campaigns for companies, government entities, and electoral candidates. We’ve also organized a wide range of successful events and corporate activities. With long-standing partnerships spanning various sectors, our mission is to craft and share visually creative content across multiple platforms, including social media, websites, TV channels, billboards, newspapers, and more.
